Great home! Although the interior has a modern edge to it, it is still inviting at the same time. This is achieved by adding in a few decorative elements to warm up the room and make it seem a little “lived in.” At the same time, you do not want to put too many decorative elements in a room or it will seem cluttered and chaotic. A good rule of thumb is to add in one larger, bold decorative element such as a piece of artwork and then only add in a few more supporting decorative pieces to bring the room together.
I like it but I’m not overwhelmed. A few years from now we’ll recognize it as an offshoot of the early 2000 trends. I’d like to see something that bucks the trends, and is its own thing completely. Come on, dig deep.
